As the locals say - you can’t go wrong up on the “alm” – the high alpine meadows! The legendary aprés-ski bar Gogola Alm (open daily from 11:00 am) is located right next to the stunning Berghotel Hochfügen. Weekly special events with live music provide entertainment under the sweeping rooftop - every Tuesday from 3:00 pm and Thursdays from 9:00 pm.
The cosy Finsing bar lounge in contemporary alpine style invites you to relax in the evening and enjoy its international cocktails, fine wines, Italian Segafredo coffee and regional spirits. Smoking is permitted. Two adjoining bowling alleys with moonlight effect provide for traditional entertainment. The bowling alleys are available for use at any time on request - the perfect pastime in inclement weather! Open every day, except Thursdays, from 5:00 pm.
Culinary à la carte at the indoor café restaurant of Berghotel Hochfügen - with a fantastic sun terrace and spectacular views of the slopes. Served are regional and international delicacies, with a special focus on locally sourced produce. Freshly made and of the highest quality, daily from 11:00 am Reserve in advance by telephone or at reception to secure the table of your choice.
If you feel peckish between meals, visit the sun terrace at the Schneewirt self-service restaurant and help yourself. If you're in a hurry to get back on the slopes, here's the best short cut to a top culinary experience: dine in and ski out!
The altitude of the Berghotel Hochfügen (1500 m.a.s.l.) guarantees glorious hours of sunshine and incomparably clear alpine air for total well-being. For particularly effective deep relaxation, our in-house wellness area offers state-of-the-art amenities to provide the pefect end to an active day in the Alps in the form of a heated indoor pool, aroma steam grotto, Finnish sauna, organic herbal sauna and Luis Trenker infrared cabin. And when the sun is hiding behind the clouds, we can offer all sun-worshippers a refuge in our modern solarium. Individual pampering sessions with massages, spa packages, body wraps, scrubs and beauty treatments can be booked easily on site. Our cosy, renovated rooms are equipped with every comfort and most have a balcony. Feel at home with us and enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains! In the absolute calm of the valley and with unbelievably clear alpine air - by the way, at 1,500 m.a.s.l. the pollen count is low and there are no mites –ensuring a guaranteed restful sleep. The purest mountain spring water flows from all taps in our accommodation, revitalised using the Grander method. Give yourself a taste of health - positive side effects expressly desired!
For one to two persons
You can enjoy cosy comfort and all amenities in our 17 m² single room. A generously sized bathroom with shower and toilet, hairdryer included. Included are telephone and room safe, satellite TV and private balcony over the garden. You can enjoy the most beautiful dreams in the luxurious queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm).
For two to three persons
Our comfortable double rooms offer more space (approx. 24 m²) and luxurious furnishings. Optionally with generous bath or shower in the bathroom, as well as toilet and hairdryer. A spacious wardrobe in traditional wood offers plenty of space for your winter clothes. Telephone, room safe and satellite TV are included. Some of our double rooms have a private balcony to the garden (Holzalm), or balcony overlooking the ski slopes (Sonntagsköpfl).
For two to five persons
More space, more comfort and more people! Our luxurious junior suites, at approx. 35 m², have enough space to accommodate friends and family. In addition to a spacious double bed, a bunk bed for the little ones is available, and a cosy sitting area invites you to relax together and linger. To prevent congestion in the morning, our junior suites are each equipped with two spacious bathrooms with toilet (one shower, one bath). Also included are hairdryer, room safe, Wi-Fi, telephone and satellite TV. To enable you to enjoy the sun, each of our suites has its own access to a balcony overlooking the garden and the Austrian Alps.
For four to six persons
The luxury class at Berghotel Hochfügen! Named for Hochfügen’s “own” impressive mountain and impressive in itself with its two separate bedrooms with king size beds, comfortable sitting area plus lounge area and private fridge, and a spacious bathroom with double sink, bath/shower and toilet. A second, separate toilet with sink is included in the generously sized suite (approx. 52 m²). Of course, the amenities also include a hairdryer, room safe, telephone, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. A private balcony overlooking the ski slope invites you to soak up the sun and relax. Luxury at a reasonable price: if booked for four or more persons, we can offer our Gilfert Suite at the same per-person rate as our Holzalm double room!
