The Hochfügen ski lifts once again won awards in the international Skiarea Test for the 2017/18 season. The team was awarded the gold rating for the quality of the pistes, the gold rating for safety as well as the recently re-introduced snowmaking trophy.

The team was awarded the gold rating for piste quality, re-introduced snowmaking trophy and an award for the best guest information system. The prizes were awarded on 25 April during the festive gala on the Achensee.
The Hochfügen ski resort in Tirol earned awards in the categories "Best Guest Information System", "Operations Manager Trophy" and "Most Friendly Train Personnel". Hochfügen, among Austria’s ski resorts at the highest elevations, offers varied pistes, deep snow slopes, high-altitude trails, winter hiking trails, floodlit toboggan runs and is well-known as a hot spot for freeriders. The Hotel Lamark in the Hochfügen ski resort is the "most popular gold-award alpine hotel”, offering, among other things, 4-star comfort and relaxation in the Lamark Spa, while being family-friendly and providing services tailored to your personal needs. The hotel's "Alexander" gourmet restaurant has been awarded three toques in the Gault Millau guide; head chef Alexander Fankhauser pampers his guests with culinary specialities.
The world's largest ski resort test portal, Skiresort.de/.info/.nl/.fr/.it, nominated the best ski resorts in the world and the best services provided at ski resorts in 2016. Hochfügen and Best Connection were once again Test Winners in 2016 - among other things in the category "5-Star Ski Resort".
In addition to the excellent overall rating, the Hochfügen ski resort in conjunction with Hochzillertal received five out of five stars not only but also in the categories “slope options”, “certainty of snow”, “lifts/cable cars”, “piste preparation” and “visitor orientation”. Hochfügen is also a top destination for professionals and freeriders.

Skiresort.de/.info/.nl/.fr/.it has awarded the 2015 “Oscars” for the sector to the best ski resorts worldwide. The ski resort Hochfügen and the Best Connection Ski Optimal Hochzillertal were nominated 2015 Test Winners in the category "5-Star Ski Resort" by Skiresort.info, the largest ski resort test portal in the world.
The Hochfügen ski resort and the Best Connection Ski Optimal Hochzillertal have again been ranked as a "5-Star Ski Resort.” The Skiresort.de team extensively reviewed the ski resort in 2013 and 2014 based on 18 evaluation criteria.
The rating platform skiarea-test has bestowed on Hochfügen’s ski lifts the International Piste Seal of Quality (5.9 out of 6 points), the Snowmaking Trophy, the Operations Manager's Trophy (for Jörg Pfister) as well as the Most Friendly Train Personnel Award and the Most Friendly Employee Award (for Hermann Egger).
The team of Skigebiete-test.de has awarded Hochfügen three top awards (more than 4.5 points in the overall ranking): Hochfügen is ranked highest in the categories advanced, professionals and après-ski.
The Hochfügen ski lifts received three awards from snow-online.de in October 2013 for “Best Ski Resort”, “Best Chalets” and “Best Value for Money”.
The reviewers of Skiresort.de choose Hochfügen and Hochzillertal have repeated selected Hochfügen and Hochzillertal as “World’s Best Ski Resort” since 2010. In addition, years ago Stephan Eberharter's ”Ski-Hausberge” made a name for themselves in the Falk-Skiatlas-Test as one of the ten best guaranteed snow areas in the entire Alpine region due to their altitude and the consistent extension of the snowmaking systems.
Skiliftgesellschaft Hochfügen was honoured with the Trigos award in the category "Society" for the SOS Children's Villages Ski Resort Hochfügen project. The Trigos award is given to organisations that have committed themselves to the principle of sustainability and responsible corporate governance.
Skiliftgesellschaft Hochfügen won second place in the overall ranking and also did extremely well in the individual categories. The International Piste Seal of Quality was awarded for the consistent high standard of factors such preparation of pistes, safety, piste guidance system and snowmaking. Hochfügen’s piste rescue services were awarded the Piste Rescue Safety Trophy for their excellent organisation and efficiency. Selected as “2010 Cable Car of the Year”, Hermann Wetscher was thus honoured for his decades of commitment and his pioneering work in the sector.
Ski Area Test, a platform for assessing quality standards in ski resorts, anonymously tested 20 ski resorts. The Hochfügen ski lifts were once again among the award winners: Max Hörhager was voted the "Most Popular Lift Operator".
