A cliff face to your left, a cliff face to your right - and a ravine full of deep snow in the middle. If you’ve ever wanted to ski down a steep canyon – this is the place for you. The natural canyon starts at an elevation of some 2000 m.a.s.l. just below the summit station of the the 8-seater Jet lift and runs down to the valley station of the Waidoffen 6-seater chairlift. You can ride down the 500-metre-long canyon with its 100 metre difference in elevation at full speed or get creative using slopestyle.
Granted, really big kicks are not possible in the BMW xDrive Canyon of Joy, but smaller jumps and turns encourage you to try something new. With all the fun that the natural canyon offers, please remember: you ski at your own risk and some skiing experience is a must, since the canyon is open terrain.
